#BlogLife1074 - Didn't think I'd be spending..

Well I got some unexpected Amazon vouchers and the last of the body butters are done now..

What did I used to pay for one? £5/6? For a 500ml tub.. Something like that..

I can't get comfy with the heat, so decided to get another fan, that's £17 ouchy but should last years..

Then miraculously I saw 3x 500ml Xbc Xpel body butters for £6.27.... Madness, I had to get it.

I'm not keen on cocoa butter or the smell but the reviews are good and maybe.. Maybe it will work?

For that price, I'm not getting it cheaper, plus this is fun money credit, it's not from my own pocket.

Lastly 3x 50ml lemon Garnier face washes so at least it has to be scented for £4.07, so the same price as one big 150ml one.

And Amazon offered me Prime, just like that... No refreshing the page, so no postage costs!!

I saved maybe just under a fiver on that, which is still good and then with the body butters about £12.

They are due tomorrow and Friday, easy peasy. I had intended to save for whatever, gifts typically..

But I think I deserve this pamper treat, which I didn't expect to give myself...

I know I need a moisturiser and a mud mask and some slippers...

But the mask seems too indulgent for right now anyway.. The washes aren't out for delivery yet.

They did ask if I wanted it altogether and I should have done that for tomorrow because I'm not in a hurry but I thought they might all come today..

But that's fine. It says delivery by Amazon and I can't remember if sometimes they still outsource it to Royal Mail, the local courier?

Anyway just unpacked the shopping, it's horrible getting up early, but G seems to work those shifts so I'm happy not to be straining my back.

Everything was there but instead of 1 chicken pasta and 1 beef tagliatelle, I got 2x chicken, I actually don't mind that ha.

They didn't call it a substitution though. It could have been a mistake, but I quite like that one, so no issue..

I'm not sure I can resist both until Wednesday but I'll see..

I'm hoping the description for the fan is accurate. I can't be certain but why would I buy regular charge and not fast?

I think the previous ones were misleading, claiming to be fast and in reality, regular.

It takes my current one about 3 hours to power up, sometimes longer. Hmm I guess I'll find out tomorrow..

It's supposed to have an insanely long battery life, 25hrs and unfortunately I do find you have to pay more for the fans to get a decent one.

Others, after a few hours conk out and then takes a few hours to charge while you are sweltering.

I put the heating on so it is boiling and of course the fan won't be charged for probably 2 hours as it's just the regular not usb c.

This is why I need a spare. I already feel tired but now drained too but at least it lasts all day and it's not even dead when I switch it off at night..

I'm already experiencing pmt symptoms, the nausea is making my tum unsettled.

Ugh the water bottle I got about half an hour ago, is warm already.

Luckily I put some in the freezer, they just need slight defrosting.

I'll eat later when I'm hungry and I've finished the UC stuff.

Fishy croissants, yum. There was a software update, I wonder if they've messed anything up?

The phone freezes more after the last update.

#BlogLife955 - Do you smell nice...?

I don't know why taking out the bins and unpacking the shopping gets harder each time but I struggled to catch my breath afterwards.

I decided to keep trying new things and the Flora proactiv butter I think is less fatty than the willow, it actually tastes good too, I might stick with that, just for crackers not for breads/sandwiches..

The other thing is Kellogs dark chocolate and almond bars, those surprised me.

4x pack for £2.50 a very generous bottom layer of chocolate and lots of nuts, I highly recommend that.

At some point I will try the Nissin chicken teriyaki ramen noodles and I'm cooking the mango chutney onion bhaji 12x £2.50 tiny ha..

The bhaji with stuffed mango chutney was surprisingly good, needed more sauce though, this hint of sweetness complimented it well.

Updates? Well Mama returned she told me she got back yesterday and I'm said I'm not coming for Christmas but glad she's back safe.

I don't feel like pretending everything is fine when I'm bitter and I don't need the added stress/depression that staying with her brings.

Apparently the usb charger was delivered, haven't checked too tired and re-strained my shoulder or arm so that's tender.

Tomorrow the Avon and Beautizone might arrive, one is Evri, one is regular postie.

Well today, Monday, the special postie must have dropped off the Beautizone stuff, blurry pictures on twitter (@SleeplessScrib1).

So these ones I haven't tried but I like the brand for the value and the size and it's always on offer and lasts me months.

Highly appeal to me as in the past, things labelled as body butters were a scam, they were super thin lotions that didn't help with the dehydration.

Anyway the Nicka K scrub smells like strawberries even before you open it.

The inner protection soft lid was harder to open, my hands were slippery from trying the body butters.

I'm quite surprised how big the clumps of scrub were, that's just uncomfortable to have on your lips for a long period, what were they thinking??

I immediately wiped it off and felt better. it did seem to smooth my mouth.

I wouldn't buy it again, the other one was much more lighter and did the same thing.

Hmm I'm gutted a bit and now I see why these were reduced.

Both the American Dream lemon and cocoa body butters smell awful like wax.

I can't believe it's not flavoured. I was so excited about the lemon one, the citrus hitting my senses every time I used it.

There is nothing, same as the cocoa butter, it's just this horrible waxy scent.

I like perfumed products, I seek those out specifically because when I'm pampering, it gives a bit of a lift to my spirit.

Especially times like today, when I'm sore and achy and feeling hormonally down.

But my hope is.. Maybe they were freshly made and haven't settled..

It could be that the scent is at the middle or bottom and needs to be mixed up.

I will let you know, I haven't finished the other one, so I will leave this alone for now.

I just opened it to see what they were like and give some initial feedback.

The Avon one is slow 4 days and it's not even with Evri yet. Pfft 3-5 days, yea right..

The Beautizone took 4 days, not bad..I'm not sure what to munch today..

Hmm I'm not sure what to do, looking back I ordered my original face brush 9 years ago in 2016, unbelievable.

I didn't know it was that old, no wonder it's dying.. The retail cost was just over £10 but I had a gift card so free basically.

I thought it was cheaper actually. I remember not liking the sponge head, it didn't feel right.

I've seen a new one that costs £16.30 yuck, that's a lot more than I wanted to pay.

I know it's not expensive and if it lasts another 9 years, that's brilliant.

This one has 2 speeds also, I'm hoping it would be more powerful.

The Essy one is £17 with 5 speeds, it doesn't look comfy to use, no brushes or sponges, it doesn't seem like.

The MyCarbon one has the brushes but £16.30 is still a lot. There is a Homedic one but no UK plug..

#BlogLife514 - Body beautification

As it's wednesday I am hoping everything will arrive by the weekend.

It probably won't but I can be optimistic. I bought a purple bath towel for £5.29.

I really liked the hand towel but instead of buying a set I wanted to check out the quality first and it's softer than the others which were supposed to be egyptian cotton I think.

I like this cotton one way better, it's not the thickest but it is lovely and gentle on my skin.

I also spotted a 200ml body mist for £7.19 Police to be woman. It's supposed to be citrusy and flowery, we shall see.

Then I bought Mane n Tail leave in conditioner 355ml for £4.95, this time I'm trying the detangler version.

I like to mix up my products if I fall in love with a brand. If I don't like this, I will revert back to the daily conditioner type.

Lastly I'm trying out the 500ml American Dream aloe body butter with vitamin e and shea butter for £7 (ouchy).

My skin is a lil dry but my elbows are cracking badly as per usual so maybe this will help?

Oh I was going to try the Argan shampoo this week but I forgot to put it in the bathroom and I was already in the bath so will use it next week.

I'll let you know what I think of them when they arrive and I've had a chance to test them.

I feel like buying a few more tops. I see so many winter warm clothes in my wardrobe but not many thin summery types.

If I get more long sleeved variations, I won't have to layer up. I saw a green and black leopard print but I don't know if I like it enough to get it.

I had kinda a weird experience shopping with Beautizone. I've not used them before and typically will look for a paypal sign.

I prefer using that because it has buyer protection so less likely to be scammed.

But when I tried to checkout with paypal, it would not approve the payment, it kept saying my password was wrong even though it wasn't?!

In the end I just used my debit card. I tried to find a working promo code, however none of them went through.

It was a whopping £5 for postage but at least it's tracked, takes 4-5 days though, a bit slow.

I just didn't see many UK stores doing the Mane n Tail and that is what I was after the most.

None of my things are out for delivery and it's weird I have to download a Shop application to track it but I will see if it's a smooth transaction, next week..

I did see some Elizabeth Taylor perfumes, I can't believe there is another newish one called Night.

It's so exciting seeing new versions. I really just wish that they expanded more on the mists.

I only see Lustre and Sparkling White, I want a good selection to choose from.
