Going backwards not forwards

I suffered a setback this week. As if I don't have enough on my plate trying to cope each day, I managed to further cause an injury by damaging my arm in some mysterious way as I have no clue how it happened.

Did I sleep funny? Was it caused by a workout? Heavy lifting?

Either on Sunday or Monday I can't quite recall it just felt quite tender while I was using it and then suddenly it felt like it did back then. I couldn't move it at all without shrieking in agony.

I couldn't do my hair, I couldn't get dressed. I could barely move and right then I was transported back to how I felt years ago in the same boat - helpless.

Why was this happening to me again? I didn't know what to do and I didn't want to worry anyone so I kept it to myself. I lived on snacks and mostly slept the week away. I couldn't do much in that state anyway.

I tried various remedies like heat and flexing it but holding anything against it or moving it was torture so I gave up soon after. I'm not one for painkillers so that was not really a consideration.

I did order a hot/cold gel pack so that should arrive next week and I can use it in the future as my arm is practically back to normal.

I just gave myself a massage from those cushion thingys. It helped to remove the last of my tension. This life is draining me and I have so many things to do but I can't.

How can I make the pain stop long enough to accomplish something? I'm trying. I just need one good day to get everything done. Just give me one decent day please.

Latest product tests

Product testing is never guaranteed to be a sure thing and is quite rare to be selected so I always find it a joy no matter what the object ends up being like.

I've been doing it for over a decade now so am quite used to writing reviews at the end of it and I always try to find at least one positive and one negative feature to include.

It's a shame others don't do that though because it is assumed most of the people testing it for free or at a substantial discount are totally biased and obligated to give only positive feedback where in reality most retailers or companies want honest criticism.

I want to help future buyers and the company itself so I just try it out as fully as I can and then jot down notes and viewpoints as I try it and then a week or so later will complete my evaluation and submit my detailed report.

Currently I just got accepted to test out a cleanser worth £30. The most I ever pay normally is £3. I'm not into labels, just high performance

I just finished my headphones test which was fun. I've done a few of these and love having a spare set.

It's a shame a few of the companies are no longer around but I appreciate the ones that are.

One of the establishments I regularly post reviews on (with my disclaimer) did remove some of my test reviews which is a shame but I just end up contacting the seller directly and posting my review that way.

I like reading detailed reviews before I purchase something, it always gives me tips and a rough guide of what to expect.

I try to be helpful when I compose mine but frankly some things that arrive are just alien to me so I have to muddle through and do my best. Not everyone can be an expert and a good mixture of feedback is healthy.

It really irritates me when another reviewer negates someone else's opinion just because it differs. Not everyone will be the same or use it for the same purposes.

Just respect the perspective, agree to disagree, unless it is something vital like a proper fact which contradicts everyone else.
