I think it was with the last Chromebook software update it happened. It doesn't show up when I press the power button..

But when I click on the menu and toggle that power button, restart comes up as an option, it's so satisfying to see it.

I was going to call this one a jumbo mistake but I had already given it a long title.

A very strange but funny thing has just happened, I literally double checked the website and my email just to make sure I hadn't made the error.

At 11.30am my jumbo bath towel arrived and it looked huge. I thought hmm, when they said jumbo they mean't it.

But then I thought I have a feeling, they put more than one towel inside.

It's just supposed to be one, I didn't order extra and when I opened it, 4x jumbo towels are included.

I'm pretty happy to get extra freebies and if they've made a mistake, I'm not returning the excess.

They do feel soft, I hate that it was only a silver shade left, I wanted purple to match the others.

But even though it's not thick, quite thin actually, it's still a good size and for £7.91 and getting 4x instead of 1 towel, I'm pleased.

Maybe they had excess stock to get rid off? Who knows what the reason is.

I just realised that it's better that it's not dense, I strain my muscles so easily with heavy objects so it's a blessing in disguise.

I just spoke to Mama and the pedicures are still on for Tuesday plus she asked for one of the towels and I'm glad because I don't need 4.

So I shall bring that to her. I can't wait. I still feel off but I think this will help with my low mood.

Argh I'm so vex, as I said before, during December I desperately wanted my brows done but she was always too busy.

Now I've finally booked for tomorrow and she's on bloody holiday, ffs.

There's not really other places that do wax, it's mainly now threading which I hate because my face is cut up in shreds, bleeding away.

Everywhere just seems so far and I'm just constantly tired. Plus something else just bothered me.

Out of the blue, one acquaintance asked if I had spoken to G, the one that had no issue using racist slurs casually with friends.

And I said no, I don't want to associate with someone like that. It angered me because we had this whole long discussion about it.

Why the hell are you bringing it up now? Did G put you up to it or were you just thoughtless by yourself??

Am I suddenly supposed to ignore it and be okay that someone's casually racist.

I feel like I'm expected bury my feelings and not make a big deal out of it.

Plus I have to admit when he found out I had a blog and just stated Oh I'm going to start reading instead of asking, if I was alright with it......

I didn't like that either. I know it's a public anonymous blog but I deal with a lot of very personal issues.

We don't have a deep friendship, I don't want to be asked about things that I've gone through.

Thankfully he hasn't brought it up but if he did, I would tell him, I don't want to discuss it.

This blog is for everyone but specifically targeted at females that can relate better to it.

It's like an open diary, granted not all posts are that private but a lot of them are.

I don't care about strangers that I don't know reading it, lapping it up, sharing it..

L reads it, but she's female, she doesn't judge, she just tries to understand and she might ask a follow up question, which I don't mind clarifying.

But men seem to judge or misunderstand or tell me, how to feel, instead of reading, accepting and thinking ok, well I might deal with this in a healthier way but this is her process and I'm fine with it.

I don't want a friendship/acquaintanceship to be elevated, when I haven't initiated that level of trust myself.

It also feels one-sided. here I am pouring my guts into my writing, he's discovering all about me but I don't know the same about him.

If I'm honest, I don't wish to know. I like it as it stands a shallow companionship.

That's what works for me because he has a way of invading my personal space and irritating me.

#BlogLife473 - My shopping, your shopping, our shopping..

This is probably going to me more rambly than structured as I'm half asleep.

I don't know if I napped or just rested, I'm still pretty sore but breakfast/lunch whatever you want to call it at 12pmish really aided settling my tummy as did the binaural beats.

I'm finding small snacks or meals are better at the moment and if I'm peckish later, I'll just have something else.

I did finally remember to get the cash out for the eyebrow shape and pedicure, I can't even remember what it costs..

Ahh last time it was £28, I took out £30 hopefully that is enough. I'm just not sure when I'll feel up to going.

It's not that far but it's the pain and exhaustion and taking 2 buses is not appealing at the moment or ever really.

Ooh I forgot to tell you the freebies I got when Iceland's unhelpful driver, made me do all the work, unpacking from the crates.

I much prefer Ocado's drivers that hands me the bags, are always smiling and friendly. I never need to bend down.

Anyway as the bags spilled over I noticed some extra dessert that I didn't order.

I try to be good and limit the snacks at times, when I'm not craving them so I was pretty sure I didn't order it.

I tripled checked my receipt and low and behold, these were someone else's items, ha.

They always get refunded back, so they don't lose out, it's just the inconvenience and I love freebies.

I just found it strange, the person ordered 3 boxes of the same item.....

It was a 3 for £5 which was really good deal but 3 boxes of eclairs? Why?? Maybe it was a huge dinner party, but why not get a variety..

Or maybe it was a substitution because oh my oh my oh my, the delicious cinnamon mini apple pie bites are back and they are heavenly.

There was fruit, trifle, yoghurt, cheesecake to choose from. Should have mixed and matched but who am I to judge?

Took out one box and shoved the rest in the freezer. What a relief, they are tiny.

Perfect for a mini sweet tooth indulgence. I gotta change the title, this does not fit, it wasn't what I was going to talk about, oops.

#BlogLife119 - Remember when free was free?

Where ever in the world you reside. I hope you are enjoying a gloriously sunny weekend. It has been warm and toasty throughout here and I've been consuming icy drinks.

I keep forgetting I have a tray of ice cubes so now what I do, is get a bottle fill it with whatever drink I have, stick it in the deep freeze and now I have a refreshing watered down beverage that is like a slushy with chunks of ice contained inside :)

Why do I like weakened drinks? The ones I buy have too much sugar so this way I get less. The stock levels are still crazy so I can't always get the drinks I prefer aka sugar free flavoured water.

Now on to today's topic. From my blog, you can guess how I love saving money and hunting for bargains. Remember that saying... You never get anything for free?

Well I used to, still do at times. A bunch of freebie sites cropped up and then disappeared over the years but these were places where you could pick up genuine goodies that you didn't pay anything for, not even postage.

It's been so long and so many of them died and were replaced that I can't recall the names but I managed to get a wide range of things makeup/t-shirts/perfume/food easily.

The best time to check was mornings as they were first come, first served for the majority of them and I didn't always have time but when I did, I hustled and told people about it.

Nowadays there are new sites, one example is called MegaFreeStuff.co.uk and gone are the days where they advertise free things to pick up.

Even the email title is "You've won" it's a spammy type of site/email that attracts people but when you read the details. These are not freebies.

Won what??? It's a sneaky marketing ploy to get you to click on the email and a lot of them have started doing this nonsense!!

Noooooooo. These are competitions to enter!! That is just so wrong in my book. Competitions and freebies are too different things.

Magic Freebies is another one I have come to loathe. These sites used to be about saving money and getting your hands on an instant sample or full sized item but now you chance it with a billion other people and there is no guarantee you'll win/receive anything!!

I'm not saying I am owed anything. When companies give away products to promote themselves. I am extremely grateful.

What I miss though is when sites were legitimately named and actually did present freebies on their pages, that you did not have to vie for.

It is also due to these complimentary sample pages that I got a heads up on fun new stock that has just launched. It was through one of these sites I think where I discovered face mists.

Which have been heaven sent during heatwaves.
