Umm I am so bad at this. Was it the world cup that was recently?

I really can't stand sports, especially football, something about rudeness and egos and entitled to behave badly...

Anyway, there was a bunch of competitions going, related around various prizes and I thought meh...

Why not have a laughable guess. I know I'm not into it, but I always pick England as a favourite to win..

My weird prediction was England 3, Mexico 2. A random guess because I know less than zilch about who is set to win and possible scores blah blah blah..

As I was entering today's competitions, I saw a notification on facebook and thought here we go, spam..

And then I clicked as it just said you were personally mentioned, no fake win and then when I click, nothing is there..

This one said Congrats, you were right...... LOL? Moi? Correct about sports?

Has the world gone mad? I won another stationary goodie bag ha...

Something I don't need but fun all the same. It's at least my second win from them and they confirmed, it's on it's way to me.

How cool is that? I'll take a picture and put it on twitter, if it arrives.. Of all topics, sports? Craziness.

So that's made me perky. It's always great to get a freebie, the comps and the product testing, is a fun way to score some high quality expensive items..

I am drained but pleased.

Ooh struggling to move around today. Just got in and was a lovely, fun but draining day, the sun was out early. so we were boiling hot and shattered.

They were short staffed so Mama got her pedicure first and then mine a lil while later.

Scored 2x massages, well 3 with the chair. One scrub, one cream and a relaxing rub down.

Afterwards it was a struggle to stand but my body stiffens faster these day but it was great.

One of the employees played a lil prank as he knows us as regulars, so said you're waiting for Mama and I said Yep, and then she popped out behind him, ha, silliness :)

We decided to go different, Mama did the veggie mushroom, hash brown bean egg brekkie and I opted for a chicken kebab wrap and then we both did fresh orange juice, sublime.

The chicken and salad was great but too leafy/tomatoey yuck. The chicken had a great seasoning though, I couldn't eat much, no appetite, so had a few bites and was done.

Had a few more just now and a laddoo dessert and now I'd love to sleep but the UC stuff to do..

We got pakoras and veggy samosas too, that can wait, no room, maybe later, maybe tomorrow..

She did give me some birthday money, I can use some for bills/depositing..

The rest, takeout or clothes, maybe a long skirt, mud mask, definitely getting my brows done..

Oh Mama's lift is still broken so hopefully that gets fixed soon, that's not nice for the retired residents, that are frail or Mama..

As it's the birthday month, went ahead with a top I've not worn before, would make a great date outfit..

Half one side is black, the other side and sleeve is purple, the front is slashed so I wore a tshirt under but it fits perfectly..

Totally gorgeous, with blue trousers as I have no skirts that fit.. I'm not sure what to wear on Friday..

Dare I risk the skin tight red top??? I felt so comfy, apart from the layers, it's too hot for that..

I'm still plus sized over 18+ and my goal is 18/20 but I am getting there, trimmer and trimmer..

#BlogLife711 - Energy bills no cheaper

Hmm not sure if I am relieved or disappointed. It's just over a month since the smart meter was forcibly installed.

It wasn't my choice, I was told I had to do it and I've just checked the latest bill and it's exactly the same, no higher or lower.

It would have been great if it was cheaper but it kinda doesn't surprise me.

I do think it's a scam. The way that you're not given the option to decline. The way that they harp on about saving you money, is all nonsense and lies!!

I haven't done anything different, I'm using the boiler less, as it's summer and I need less heat.

I'm still cooking the same, although once again no appetite. Plus I'm still charging all the devices nonstop..

Earbuds, laptop, fans, epilator, electric toothbrush, foot scrub remover and electric blankie.

My skin is mostly clear, a lil bumpy with the increased sugar consumption.

I just gave myself a pedicure, actually not sure when my next professional one is due.

I've decided every 3 months, should suffice, plus I wonder if the brow lady is back.

I did just pluck my brows, so they seem better but they need a re-shape so badly.

The neighbours are harassing me again but I'm not answering the door, 10pm at night, they buzzed, what the hell for??

Who does that?? I could have been sleeping. Schmucks!!

A lil update about the Yash lip balm, it's good while using it, but my lips are chapping badly.

I wouldn't recommend it, as it's no different to any other brand, except that it leaks like crazy and that is annoying me so much.

No matter how tightly I close it, the next time I pick it up, it's leaking, ugh, sticky mess!

Oh that was quick, I ordered the gel pens on Friday and they already arrived, woop.

It's Bic and they are the ugliest design I have ever seen, they look cheap, well they were inexpensive at £2.29, oh well, I will still use them at a pinch.

But I thought they were different colours, purple, pink, green, black and blue.

I like that they are thick and dark and comfy to hold but what is with the bloody deception??

If they are one colour, make them all blue!

#BlogLife463 - Do you give yourself a boost?

I was so excited that the lemongrass face wash arrived so soon. I can't believe it was next day service when they predicted the middle of next week..

The price is around £4. I picked it up for £4.95 but I didn't have to pay any postage costs so it's a lil extravagant but it seems worth it.

The picture is already up on Twitter and it's a clear gel wash, that's 150ml which is the standard practically.

It's not overpowering but it's definitely noticeable, the scent lingers faintly even after it's washed off and I love it so much.

I've only used it on the face brush so far and I had to douse it because it just didn't seem to separate from the bristles.

When I applied the brush to my face, it really felt like there was nothing on there.

I had to feel the brush to make sure there was gel on the surface but eventually after doing a few rounds on my face, it started to lather up and that was a better distribution. 

It is so so light. I'm not really used to that, usually I feel it sitting on my face and working it's magic deep into my pores.

My skin feels thoroughly cleansed and soft, shiny and as though I have foundation on.

I can't wait to apply it to my hands and see what it feels like without the brush, either tonight or tomorrow.

I tried it just using my hands and it's just simple and refreshing. I would definitely get it again.

It doesn't really say who it is targeted for, maybe it's universal? 

Oh and there is no yucky beads, woop. The reason I dislike them is that they clog up my pores.

Combination dry and oily faces do not suit heavy products, skin needs to be able to breathe.

I spotted something I shouldn't have, the mini ferrero chocolate hazelnut eggs. 

I've only ever seen them once to try and have craved them ever since. They will arrive next week.

I could have bought 2 bags but nope, one will do. Also I didn't go through my post yesterday and found my pens and clips had arrived woop :)

Anyway the reason I don't like to spend much on hair clips is that the glue they use to stick on the pretty designs isn't that strong.

The covering seems to fall off very quickly but I couldn't resist these for summer.

It cost £3.30 for 20 clips and I usually pay way less than that but they are so colourful and adorable, I couldn't resist getting them.

They feel sturdy but in a few months, they will probably fall apart, if not I'll get another set.

The gel pens had the perfect array of shades for £2.30. It was 6 pens included, black, purple, blue, orange, green and red.

I knew that mainly I wanted black and purple and the rest could be anything.

It has a proper click cap so you know that it's tightly locked, it writes smoothly, the price was very reasonable for so many pens.

My only bugaboo is that the black pen had less than the others and that annoys me from a supposed new product.

They should all be the same but I probably would still get another set, it seems hard to get the colours I want at a discounted price.

I looked into a few brands but either they were refills, too expensive or only had black and blue colours.

I recall spending hours and hours journalling or composing poetry or stories.

That was way before I started having health issues. It was a lot easier and fun then experimenting with different colours.

But I always had to be careful because re-reading faint font was such an eye strain, that's why I prefer darker shades.

Typing is somewhat easier than writing but not as creative.

#BlogLife461 - I thought I had you..

My hair is all wild and crazy today but it feels like it's settling down and yesterday I went out, without curlers, without clips and it was set fine.

I'm running low on stationary. I don't know where my pens keep running off to but I forgot to check the market for deals and hopped on to Ebay instead.

I particularly love the gel ink pens. I can't recall if they are all called rollerball but there's a stripey brand which has been consistently good quality.

I just don't know the name of it and I didn't see it anyway. I fancied branching out and instead of the usual blue, black, I got a multipack.

I just hope that the ink is dark enough and the ink flows easily, it makes holding a pen easier.

Sometimes I feel very weak and can't open things or tear or grip comfortably enough and it's frustrating to have to leave it and come back.

Then I just remind myself, I have good days and bad days. I also needed some more hair clips and I saw this set which has beautiful colours so I treated myself.

I'll post the pictures on Twitter when they arrive, probably next week as they are coming with royal mail.

I notice when someone gets too arrogant or at ease with me, they take me for granted.

Just without thought, break plans or become inconsistent with me and don't really care that I've been waiting around or that I could have been doing something worthwhile instead.

Of course exceptions arise and you can't always foresee that and that's life, that's normal.

But it's the expectation that I'll drop everything or that I'm always going to wait around that bugs me.

Especially when someone specifically asks...... Are you going to be around tomorrow......

Then nothing........ It forces me to play games and be unavailable for a day or so to teach them a lesson about wasting my time.

I'm never a sure thing, just because I'm nice to you or accommodating at first....

Don't assume you just have me where you want me, you're in for a nasty rude awakening!!!

Dic is also being super weird. I saw him yesterday and he's been bombarding me with messages and calls that I see him today again.

WTF??!! For what purpose? Maybe because he made a boo boo. Maybe because he'll get into trouble from the log book, that I signed in at 11.59 and then out at 12pm.

One minute meetings are not supposed to occur! But if he forgot to cover something else or expects me to travel to see him today.......

Forget it!!!
