#BlogLife284 - Knock Knock it's Acelon!

I had set the alarm for 7.30am and woke up at 6am but I was determined to get a lil more sleep and it was a deep dead to the world slumber.

Until someone was buzzing the door at 7amish and I was out of it. I asked who it was and they replied "Acelon."

I thought who on earth is that, then I realised I still had my earbuds in and took them out and they repeated themselves.

"It's Iceland, your delivery." Oops lol but they were nearly an hour early. I didn't have my lenses on, my hair was messy and my brain wasn't switched on.

They normally come later but my cupboards were empty and I didn't want to risk a late delivery, knowing they could easily be delayed.

He did apologise though and I said it was fine but I thought why didn't you call or text to see if it was acceptable, instead of just showing up?

People book slots for a reason. Although, just between me and you, my phone was on silent. I hate being woken up prematurely, it's hard enough to sleep with insomnia.

At least everything was in stock. I tried the Fibre One chocolate flavoured squares at 90 calories each.

It's tasty but I prefer the lemon version, it just seems more seasoned. There were 6 small packets though, I'm sure the lemon one only had 4 or maybe I am mistaken.

#BlogLife283 - Mystery courier

I hope you are all relaxing this weekend. Yesterday I had some missed calls claiming to be from Amazon Logistics about a parcel.

The number 07868 802 242 and Amazon themselves can't even tell me if the number is legitimate, which is frustrating. As is could be a scam.

I haven't ordered anything recently from them and I hope the seller hasn't sent me another set of earbuds, that is just overkill.

They said vaguely Logistics will be in touch if there is a redelivery to be made but I was hoping a few taps of the computer would have just shown if my address was tagged with a delivery.

The only thing I'm expecting because I forgot to buy it is Creightons face wash but that's apparently coming with Royal Mail. I don't recall the brand so it will be fun to review it later.

My elbows are back to cracking so when I asked for a recommendation, the answer cocoa butter came up. I'm not that keen, it's very pricey and is hit and miss for me, plus the smell is just not my favourite.

The consistency in the body butter tub has gotten worse, now it's this thick oily, hard to scoop solid matter, it's not creamy, more waxy.

I suppose if it moisturises deeply, that will be something but I prefer Dove, smells nicer and is easier to use.

I remember everyone falling over themselves to buy it but I always thought it was overrated personally.

I do hate shopping for body butters though, hardly any of them are legitimate. They are supposed to be dense and hydrating but very few are.

I find most are just lotions and bad ones at that. Too thin and simplistic for any good to come out of it.

I don't know whether to get another mini fan, the nights and evenings are quite warm and the one I have takes ages to charge, when it can be bothered to restore itself.

I'll definitely get a fast charger next time. I don't seem to have any issues with that, so far.

I'm still buzzing from posting BookLife onto wattpad and filling in all the details.

Shenanigans With A Shifty Chef, got the first read and all 6 chapters got a vote, which was touching :)

The rest not so much but I realised what I did wrong. When promoting on social media, give a blurb about the story and tag it but I feel with tags, it just seems too much.

On wattpad itself, you can never have too many tags though, they recommend just going to town with that. I suppose it will broaden the potential audience for you.

It just feels like I started off not communicating at all and now I'm divulging more and more.

You might think it's strange for me to be so surprised by it but I didn't think I would get to this place so to see how I've developed is exciting for me.

I hate writing the taglines and book descriptions and the covers are a lot. I can't seem to make mine look smarter.

The pictures I like but choosing the font style from hundreds is just a headache.

I'm probably not choosing the right words or placing the title accurately but I'm learning as I go and one day maybe I'll figure it out.

I'll leave you with this thought, You know why it's so strange to have a package when I've not ordered something??

It's because I haven't sent anyone a gift to be reciprocated back. I'm always someones afterthought, for me to get something from them, first I have to go out of my way to surprise them.

Then they feel obligated to return the favour. That's why it's difficult to see myself as lovable at times.

Nobody seems to see me that way and no I am not asking to be pampered.

I'm asking to be seen, thought of, missed, cared for and yes loved.

Well the courier just came and went. It was the face wash I ordered, wow, that was quick.

It threw me off because they said Royal Mail was sending it but it's here now and I can have some peace.

I'll do a write up later when the other wash is finished. Oh and I've my period yet again. I wonder if it will be yet another 1 day event??

#BlogLife258 - Don't be a dick and dictate!!

Oops I slept through my 2 alarms. I normally awaken hours before but I slept at 2amish and woke up at 7ish not too surprising that I didn't get up.

At least I managed to freshen up before Iceland arrived. No time to properly dress or put my lenses on but it could have been worse.

I could have missed both deliveries entirely. The Amazon one isn't out for delivery but was despatched yesterday.

A trifle worrying as Rush shipping wasn't available and it's somehow coming by Logistics instead of speedy Prime.

Ooh I'm somewhat calmer, at 10.47 it stated it was out for delivery and arriving roughly between 2pmish to 6pmish.

Woo about 4.20pmish the courier knocked and ran ha but it's delivered and I'm too tired to unpack it and sort it out, tomorrow I can figure what goes where..

To be honest, I still haven't opened the parcel. I was and still am feeling a bit rough. It must be PMT. The cramps and nausea are making my stomach flip flop.

I have discovered some shows that I could easily get into, one is Scandal, it's a tiny bit like leverage, a bit blackmaily but more political and lawyery lol.

The other one is The Closer, this sugar obsessed boss taking over and stepping into a man's world who isn't appreciated but she's a brilliant investigator.

Kinda reminds me of Bones, but less forensics and more interviews and inner conflicts.

A really dumb thing happened over the weekend. I had a falling out with one of the other gamers of Looney Tunes because I wouldn't fall at my knees, bow and follow his strategy.

He got really angry with me and said he would no longer talk to me over it, which in turn made me just scoff, laugh and think screw you then!

I wished him well and then rolled my eyes and the next day he tags me like nothing happened. I don't like any drama, even the petty kind so I am laying low from discord for a bit.

Oh and I had a pleasant surprise and got my olive fix after all, in the form of these olive crackers from Italy.

I swear every time I enter that international store, I discover a new treat. I really didn't expect them to have such a strong delicious taste but they are well seasoned.

Some I had on their own and the others I dipped into the hummus. I would definitely recommend it and I meant to copy down the name and forgot.

The other one was far too salty and it was okay but not as yummy.

Quit lying and act like a professional!

Couriers do it all the time when they say "attempted delivery." You were nowhere near my place at the time stated, I was home, I would have heard you.

Stop lying to people. It has been a stressful week with only a few highlights to revel in. I found a good deal on some headphones that met my criteria and were on a double sale, having further gone down in price.

However I didn't expect them to arrive the next day. I had to pop out with some errands and apparently missed the courier. I had been checking the tracking but it wasn't detailed just stated "out for delivery."

I called up to reschedule and miscommunication ensued but I got £5 worth of credit compensated to me, so I thanked her and expected it the following day.

Throughout that evening, the tracking changed twice to "out for delivery" but yet nobody knocked or buzzed. I would not have missed anymore deliveries as I was at home.

Several calls later it turns out, the driver had gone to the wrong address and was in fact not at my destination. Idiots! This morning I was supposed to have a routine hospital appointment that I get picked up for.

I have to be ready by 7am for an appointment that I usually make for 9ish so I was up at 5ish as I couldn't sleep properly and by 7ish I was dressed and ready to be collected.

Suddenly it was 9am and no sign of transport so I called the hospital to double check they hadn't forgotten me and was told to be patient, that I was on the list and would be picked up at some point.

By 11am my patience had run out and I called again, only to be rudely told that they had been at my place at 8.30 and I was not at home.

Yea right... I enquired as to whether perhaps the driver had gone to the wrong address by mistake and was flatly told NO.

I asked why when I enquired at 9am I wasn't told I had missed my appointment and the reply was make a new appointment.

Ugh! I love the bit he added on, which was *Oh we would have called but we don't have your number on file* I've given out my number to them several bloody times!!!

I can't actually reschedule the appointment. I will just receive a new one in the post but I did state exactly why I didn't make the appointment.

A complete waste of hair, makeup and time I could have spent sleeping blissfully.
